Ice Storm, Portland, Maine 3/24/24

.

a walk around Munjoy Hill

reveals a crystal palace

of winter wonders.

all the trees & bushes encrusted in ice.

ice catching the rays of the sun crawling

down into a glass house kingdom.

many trees & limbs

fallen under the weight

of the heavy ice pushing down.

power lines in a fray,

the islands in silver & gold.

a snow temple of quartz & topaz.

the ice storm came to town

      2. that is so nice you have a garden. what do you make with your tomatoes? in answer to your previous question: I listen to a whole lot of jazz ( I use to work at the Jazz Clubs in NYC ) & plenty of everything else, too. I am a DJ on the local radio station (WMPG) so I have a lot of records to spin… although I am finding that changing records one-handed (With the baby in my arms) is a bit tricky
