a wander ‘round kobenhavn with my baby
through the king’s park admiring flowers
crossing streets for another
meander along the lakes
swans & fawns & little ducklings
that’s when we hear the thunder rolling
what starts as a smattering soon lets loose
a barrel of rain down upon us
cut back home through orange painted houses
soon soaked to the bone
rain so hard it comes through my bootlaces
past the black swan & into a market we go
load up on snacks for an evening smorges borges
take ‘em home
dry off
groove to some hank mobley
summer time just an easy thrill
erica prepares our snack attack
while i finish up my evening exercises
under danish clouds & sky
