Mäds & I on the rainbow rug.

rolling & squawking & carrying on.

he half crawls a ways up the rug,

using his left arm to pull him along.

he tries so hard to roll over,

& is close to doing so.

it frustrates him.

he wails & yelps. not in a crying way,

but in a trying way.

me & Mäds on his rainbow rug,

working things out,

solving problems.

father & son

with a long way to go

& no hurry to get there
