a glorious saturday.

we stroll to Double Good Coffee

for a real coffee for Mama who’s waited so long.

the kid asleep in his carriage,

so we venture further on.

to the Eastern Prom

& down the green glass a-splendor,

for the food trucks assembled there.

sampling all three of them:

sushi, Mexican, bánh mi.

picnic tabled with another father & son,

gazing out at blue bays a-plenty
